BEST PRACTICE WHEN YOU ATTEND THE CLUB

The Club has implemented multiple wash station points (pre/during/post golf) and supports the advice to encourage social contact minimisation (keeping 1.5 m from those near you).

We can all play our part to be socially responsible including the following methods;

o Keeping 1.5 m from your fellow members and the club’s staff

o Greet with a nod or elbow tap (not handshake or hug/kiss)

o Cough into your shoulder or arm

o Avoid touching your nose, mouth or eyes

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOARD AND MANAGEMENT REGARDING ATTENDING SITE AT THIS TIME?

Until further notice, members are asked to effectively attend site, check-in for golf, enjoy your round with colleagues and leave site following or “car park” golf until further notice to avoid ANY gatherings/congregations of members.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Can I socialise closely with my fellow members on course and about the Clubhouse before or after my round?

No. Staff are directed to request groups of 2 or more people conducting social interaction not meeting the required 4sqm to adhere to this nationally mandatory requirement. Now following new laws limited to 2 persons only in a public space.

What is the recommendation of the Board and Management regarding attending site at this time?

Until further notice, members are asked to effectively attend site, check-in for golf, enjoy your round with colleagues and leave site following or “car park” golf until further notice to avoid ANY gatherings/congregations of members.

ALCOHOL SALES

Can the Club sell alcohol?

No. Under any circumstances for an indefinite period per new regulations in place.

Can I BYO alcohol to the club interim?

No. The Club’s liquor licence does not permit (nor ever has) BYO alcohol to site.

All staff, the Board and the Golf Committee members are empowered to inspect any esky (or method to carry BYO alcohol) should it be reported a member is contravening this directive or is reasonably suspected of doing so.

MEMBER CONSEQUENCES FOR BREACH OF SOCIAL DISTANCING, BYO AND ALCOHOL SALES

AN IMMEDIATE “MINIMUM” 3 MONTH SUSPENSION (OR LONGER) WILL APPLY. NO EXCEPTIONS.

DETERMINATION

The temporary policy change now limits attendance to the Club to our educated and informed Members only.

This change mitigates the risk posed by non-member golfer(s) not adhering to our guidelines as simultaneous regulatory site inspections would result in our Club being shut down and fined on-the-spot.

The Board and management are united in protecting the sanctity of golf at our Club. This measure is necessary to keep golf accessible for our Members in the short and possibly longer term.

Under no circumstances will ANY non-member golfing patrons have access to our course, unless granted so by the Club’s Chairman or General Manager.
