COVID-19 Update :: 1.4.21

Following the Queensland Government’s announcement at 9:00am that the lockdown will end at midday today, for the 2 week period of restrictions outlined (covered more in depth below) our course, driving range and Clubhouse will be open to MEMBERS and MEMBER’S GUESTS only. No public attendees at this time.

This measure reduces member exposure to site attendees whom may not be as well communicated to in terms of our COVID-19 safe plans and places the onus on our members to ensure all guests have not attended any of the contact tracing hot spots.

A member may bring a maximum of three (3) guests to play golf and seven (7) to enjoy a meal or a drink at the Clubhouse. A member may not take a guest to the driving range that is not booked to play/pay for a round of golf on the same day.

The course and Clubhouse will remain closed today Thursday 1st April 2021.

Friday 2nd April 2021 – golf bookings for this day will remain as booked and play will commence from the 1st Tee under the one tee start in groups of 2.

All other forward bookings into the next 5-6 days are now redundant.

Members will make their future golf bookings online only with each day’s teesheet opening at 7:00pm a day and a half prior. Eg, at 7:00pm Thursday, the teesheet for Saturday opens.

Golf will commence daily from the 1st Tee under a One Tee start from 6:00am.

All golf from Saturday 3rd April 2021 forward under the current restrictions will be played in groups of four (4).

At this point in time restrictions are lifted and members may use their own cart or Club carts as they see fit. Normal hire rates apply for Club carts.

Two (2) people may ride in ANY electric cart and they DO NOT need to be from the same household.

Sunday to Friday our teesheets will avail comp or social play for members and their guests until 12:45pm and social play thereafter.

Saturdays will be comp and member only up to 12:45pm and social play for members and their guests thereafter.

Members may use the driving range ensuring they check-in/out via the golfshop at all times. The Club needs to be able to contact trace all site attendees and this measure will ensure due compliance.

Consumption of food and/or beverage in our Clubhouse is seated only.

Friday 2nd April 2021 (Good Friday) – open from 10:00am to 6:00pm for non-alcoholic drinks all day. Our bistro will provide meals from 10:00am to 2:30pm. Alcohol may only be consumed with a “sit down meal” (not a bowl of chips) per OLGR restrictions. Alcohol may be consumed an hour prior, during and an hour after your meal. Staff will be monitoring all patrons to ensure we do not breach these strict regulations. We expect a visit tomorrow from a regulatory body ensuring we are compliant.

Saturday 3rd April 2021 – open from 6:30am to 6:00pm (last drinks called at 5:30pm) so come on down and enjoy a $5 bacon and egg roll and watch the Texas Open on our new TV’s and MEGA SCREEN!!!

Sunday 4th and Monday 5th April 2021 – open from 9:00am to 5:30pm (last drinks called at 5:00pm).

All other days of the 2 week restriction(s) period we will trade the Clubhouse opening hours as normal.

Our drinks cart will not operate under the current restrictions though take-away alcohol sales will be available form the bar as normal.

Stay safe, wash your hands and enjoy the company of friends and family over the Easter period!
