BEGINNERS UP TO 6 HOLES
Designed for those beginning their golfing experiences. At this level we have a try before you buy where boys and girls can participate in activities up to 3 times before having to officially join the club. We also have loan clubs that can be used at this stage so there is no need to outlay for equipment up front. We also have a variety of second-hand clubs in good condition for sale at reasonable prices as well.
9 HOLES
Ideally, children should be of a standard that enables them to make regular contact with the ball (not too many “airswings”) and have a basic understanding of the safety aspects of golf (e.g not walking close to or in front of other players making a swing). All players under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Sub Juniors can represent Wantima at zone, My Golf and Golf Queensland Events.
- Formal competitions designed to suit ability of players in a fun and encouraging environment.
- The boys and girls get to play on the course during Saturday Members Competition.
